Sindh Govt Lifts Ban on Recruitment Process

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party led Sindh Government on Wednesday lifted the ban on recruitment in all departments.
According to the spokesperson of the Sindh government, a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in which the cabinet approved the lifting of the ban on recruitment in all departments.
The Chief Minister directed that the Law Minister and Advocate General should end the ban on recruitment in the courts as well.
The Chief Minister said that projects worth $ 100 million have been started with the support of donor agencies regarding Karachi Water and Sewerage, the projects are for the supply of clean water and improving the infrastructure of the water board.
According to Sindh Chief Minister, World Bank will pay 40 percent of the total cost of the project, while Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will pay 40 percent and Sindh government will pay 20 percent.
