Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said on Friday that his players will put in all-out endeavors to hold the Pakistan Super League (PSL) title once again.

Speaking to the press conference ahead of the PSL 9 opener against Islamabad United, the Qalandars captain recognized the spin wizard Rashid Khan, saying, “We’ll miss Rashid Khan as he played a crucial part in our victories.”

Shaheen energized behind his players, saying, “We have a competent team.”

South African cricketer Rilee Rossouw on Tuesday supplanted Sarfaraz Ahmed as Quetta Gladiators’ captain ahead of the ninth version of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Pakistan cricketer Saud Shakeel was designated as the Gladiators’ vice-captain.

Ahmed had initiated the Quetta Gladiators for the initial nine editions of the premium tournament.

This will be the primary time that the Quetta Gladiators will have a customary captain.

Beneath Ahmed, the Quetta Gladiators had come to the ultimate of the premium competition three times. It was in 2019 that the Quetta Gladiators lifted the PSL trophy.
