Court sentenced 7 years prison due to “un Islamic nikkah” case to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi

RAWALPINDI: The trial court has given seven-year sentences, each, to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi within the “un-Islamic nikah” case at the Adiala imprison today.

The decision was articulated by Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah nowadays, a day after the hearing of the case was conducted interior the prison premises for 14 hours a day earlier.

The judge issued the court’s decision within the case relating to the supplication recorded by Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband Khawar Maneka against what he alludes to as an un-Islamic and unlawful nikah with the Imran Khan.

Nikah amid iddat

 Maneka, in his request, had termed Bushra and Khan’s nikkah “Illegal” fighting that the marriage was solemnised amid her iddat — taking after her separate with him.
